Adamas announces official Kaki King signature model guitar!

The top Adamas dealer is Al Pepiak, of Lostartvintage dot com. I have no relationship to him other than having purchased several guitars from him. He's well known amongst Ovation and Adamas fans as having the best prices and the best customer service, bar none. From his post on the Ovationfanclub dot com forum yesterday:

" It's official there will be a new signature series Adamas and it is the Kaki King model.
similar to her's with the same sound holes single epaulet and shade of blue. Braces held on extra tight to withstand top tapping. 4K list price.

The Adamas is a carbon fiber top with the Lyracord bowl on the back, as all Ovations and Adamas have. It is not a wood topped guitar. Her guitar has one of the OpPro series of preamps, though I don't know which one. The OpPro series is superb and second to none in the industry. The 12th fret inlay on her personal guitar is a crown.

The configuration of her signature guitar? Don't know, since Al hasn't told us yet. I would presume identical to what she performs with. Street price should be quite a bit less than list.

Kaki spoke about this guitar being made & even she was taken aback at how expensive they said it was going to be.
(that being said, it's still a really cool guitar!)

Something like 3-4 grand apparently.

We'll book an "international kaki family" benefit concert. We'll all perform and then spend the money on buying KK-signature guitars hehe!!Otherwise, I have to work for at least two months not spending a single cent and then I'll buy it. If anyone of the guys who live in Europe knows of any distributors, please let me know, because there's no chance I find this guitar in Greece. Germany, maybe?? ;-)
