Concert Listings

I hope she has another concert in NY soon! I only discovered her a few weeks ago, and didn't know about that concert in time. I would LOVE to see her perform live!

i went to see nanuchka with my boyfriend last night and was surprised to find that yuval semo plays keyboards for them. i got to talk to yuval really quick after the show and he told me that kaki will be touring in october and will be playing at webster hall in nyc. can't wait!

that is one kickass band, their album is awesome and the cd with guignol is also very good, as so is the other band they were in, the great World/Inferno Friendship Society.

Hopefully there'll be a big enough tour to include the UK sometime before not too long... that'd be awesome.

kaki come to new zealand. or at least australia again while i'm living there this summer.

Anyway, Kaki King is going to play in San Francisco, CA on August 23rd as part of the Outside Lands Festival (Tom Petty is playing the same day as Kaki; so that's another great band to go see). So, if you live in SF or near SF (like me), there's the next Kaki gig in SF. Who knows, maybe she'll come out here before that.

I was going to go to the March 25th show at the Great American Music Hall but I couldn't since I was on vacation elsewhere in the States. Good thing edmann taped the show so I got it all on my iPod.

What part of the Bay Area are you from?

I just got back from seeing Kaki at the turning point cafe which was a really really great show. I spoke to Kaki after the show as soon as she waved me over and greeted me with a 'hey buddy!" and a great hug. I gave her my demo which im kind of embarassed by but whatevs. so the setlist was the same as the show that was bootleg'd. magazine was INTENSE. doing the wrong thing was absolutely amazing and beautiful. every song was played perfectly. great great show.

She also told me that she RECORDED AN EP WITH THE MOUNTAIN GOATS.
