Northern State
is a 3 - girl rap / hip hop group
who are basically the female equivalent of The Beastie Boys

Kaki plays on their last track "Fall Apart" on the album "Can I Keep This Pen?"
I highly suggest them.

Yeah, they are good, I have that cd!
And I saw them live last march, when they played with Tegan & Sara in Brussels and they were great!

they're pretty fun to listen to but their rhymes are kinda whack. i like them anyway.

yeah, I saw them in brussels too and i still hate myself for not buying their cd back then.
