I had received a photo pass from their publicist for the surprise Houston date but I went to Austin right before that to see Kaki and blew all my money there...

I saw An Horse open for Tegan and Sara back in May. Still regretting not getting any of their merch... My friend got to see them again a couple of weeks ago at a small venue in a small town and had a nice little chat with Kate for like 10 minutes or so. Very approachable and amiable. Lucky little grumblegrumblegrumble.

i saw them open for tegan and sara in may as well in new york and they were stunning! they also opened for my favouritest band, Rasputina, a couple of weeks ago at a venue in brooklyn that i had no money to get in to.

i saw an horse very recently
they were with two bands
Electric Owls [recommend them]
and
Bishop Allen [didn't stay for them]

and an horse was great.
i got videos of them, so just search "JoeyMcChipmunk" on youtube, and you'll find em.

it was a school night, so i couldn't see the last band.

An Horse are going to be the support act for some of Kaki's shows in Australia, I only found that out yesterday and it made my day because I'm going to Kaki's Melbourne show, and it's amazing enough to be seeing Kaki, but to get to see one of my other favourite bands that night as well is awesome .

I love that song too, it's now my favourite of their songs (previously it was "Company"). It was amazing seeing this song live at the Melbourne T&S show as Kate put so much emotion into it that for me it was the song that stood out the most for the whole night, even though Tegan and Sara were the main act (and they were still amazing too, of course). I'm kicking myself now that I didn't video it, but I didn't want to fill up my camera's memory card before Tegan and Sara had been on stage, so I only got video of "Company". But I'm going to the An Horse show tomorrow night (yay!) so hopefully they'll sing it then.
